Oh well...

Pablo, I haven't played Turbo Toons, no. Another game to feature in the series of posts along with so many others!RetroKingSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05609689348601442117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-52141539075821947592011-11-05T21:03:12.056+00:002011-11-05T21:03:12.056+00:00Hey Simon, on the theme of Top Down racers, have y...Hey Simon, on the theme of Top Down racers, have you happened across Turbo Toons on the SNES?? I've been meaning to write about it for a while now but I've been too lazy...!

Anyways, it's pretty basic looking and appalling in single player, but it's by far the funniest multi-player game I've ever played. It supports 5 players, if you ever get chance to try it with that many people, I'd definitely recommend it.Paul Darbyshirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08992558379607277786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-14416166848695660062011-11-05T02:37:55.829+00:002011-11-05T02:37:55.829+00:00I haven`t played this either, but I know what you ...I haven`t played this either, but I know what you are talking about. It seems that racing games in particular are prone to falling victim to that `amazingly fun to play with other people but just awful when played in single player`. Mario Kart 64 springs to mind - I love playing that game with friends but never play it on my own.Seanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13681778110046124243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-6363873431068765132011-11-04T19:30:59.393+00:002011-11-04T19:30:59.393+00:00Well, you'll have to try playing it with frien...Well, you'll have to try playing it with friends at some time -- if possible. I may give it a go via emulation soon, but I'm not expecting to like it much.Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-63486365823243474372011-11-03T21:31:23.026+00:002011-11-03T21:31:23.026+00:00Yeah, that's the frustrating thing - I DO like...Yeah, that's the frustrating thing - I DO like top-down racers and this could've been a really good one were it not for such stupid flaws. It'd make a pretty good party game I suppose :)RetroKingSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05609689348601442117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-66520309672411314302011-11-03T21:28:56.720+00:002011-11-03T21:28:56.720+00:00Ah, I've never played this game either. Anyway, I have to imagine I'd be annoyed by this game's control and "warping" schemes, too. Yikes! The rest sounds kind of fun, though. Maybe I'll try it out via emulation sometime soon...Bryan Ochallahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16256591698209804728noreply@blogger.com
