On the other hand, it should get an 8 for having such an incredible title screen! :)Lukey Firebeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08048168897735233897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-48440279087779155172016-08-12T15:59:20.445+01:002016-08-12T15:59:20.445+01:00That reminds me, I need to check that out at some ...That reminds me, I need to check that out at some point too :)RetroKingSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05609689348601442117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-39094229739253784222016-08-11T18:33:46.752+01:002016-08-11T18:33:46.752+01:00Reminds me of a single-player Xpilot!!! :)Reminds me of a single-player Xpilot!!! :)Hugohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18359074617119057876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-44439214039374926102016-08-11T17:23:19.037+01:002016-08-11T17:23:19.037+01:00Wow, Achimedes? The only game we got to play on the BBC's at school was Granny's Garden, and even then only on special occasions :(

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the game first appeared on the Electron and BBC before receiving the ports to Speccy, C64, etc. There's even a homebrew VCS version now too!

I'll have to check out that Hubbard choon, cheers for the tip :)RetroKingSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05609689348601442117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-76982727950096001342016-08-11T16:51:54.846+01:002016-08-11T16:51:54.846+01:00The C64 version of this game had a cracking Rob Hu...The C64 version of this game had a cracking Rob Hubbard soundtrack if I remember rightly.DazAdamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17267950761444367872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-23590249137726079972016-08-11T16:51:20.240+01:002016-08-11T16:51:20.240+01:00I never realised it was an Acorn exclusive initial...I never realised it was an Acorn exclusive initially.
Yeah the Beeb was never really regarded as a games machine but, I played Mr EE on breaks at Primary school and remember playing loads of arcade clones on some compilation discs at a friends house (his parents were school teachers so were invested in the BBC ecosystem - he even had an Acorn Electron and an Archimedes at one point).

I enjoyed playing the games but, was glad to have a C64.DazAdamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17267950761444367872noreply@blogger.com
