The pace is blisteringly fast. Tops even the Amiga version. Great system thus far, but I have most of these arcade conversions already on my Sega Saturn (Jap) and Dreamcast... Arcade perfect ports. Its a solution to "floppies buggering up" as you mentioned above, still allowing you to play games on original hardware rather than emulators.

You should be able to get the game I mentioned here: http://www.emuparadise.me/Sharp_X68000_ROMs/Space_Landing_S-Type_Mission_2_%281989%29%28Cross_Soft%29/62787

Its also included in gamebase X86, and its worth checking out Gamebase X68 at http://www.gb64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4221 which shows the many, many adult hentai games for the X68000 including some pervy screenshots. I think most systems that were popular in Japan had large amounts of pervy adult games made for them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-60426975125188088542012-03-15T14:48:28.565+00:002012-03-15T14:48:28.565+00:00Hello again Mr. Anonymous. I'm not really too knowledgeable on the technical aspects of computers and consoles so I'm not really sure what the first half of your comment means :P I will make a point of checking out Space Landing S-Type Mission 2 though! I've already got five games in mind for the next part of this feature but perhaps I can offer a full review of this one. We'll see. :)

p.s. I thought it was the PC-FX that had loads of hentai games?RetroKingSimonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05609689348601442117noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-90612783972831062232012-03-13T21:41:49.048+00:002012-03-13T21:41:49.048+00:00Its possible the X68000 might be compatible with t...Its possible the X68000 might be compatible with the HxC Floppy Emulator device. I have heard there is problem with original power supplies failing in original machines (possibly similar to the Capacitor problem in the Beeb). Its a shame there was so many Japanese "Adult Adventure" games for the system, but there is a few gems. "Space Landing S-Type Mission 2" is one of those and worth checking out before you post Part 2. I think it might also be a game exclusive to this system, as I have not seen this game on any other system, and its quite a nice addictive game. It can be found in GameBase X68.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5455082771543433548.post-17098944910827716992012-03-12T12:47:38.246+00:002012-03-12T12:47:38.246+00:00Yeah, it looks like a pretty imposing system, huh?...Yeah, it looks like a pretty imposing system, huh? :) I'd love to collect for it but it's not cheap as I understand it. I'd probably have to emulate it though tbh as I don't have the room for one or the spare time to really get into another import machine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
